Trust & Security
ZARXE is a peer-to-peer marketplace built so that no single mistake can quietly drain funds. Here is exactly how escrow, verification, withdrawals and disputes work.
USDT is locked by the platform before any rand moves.
Verification badges and real trade history on every advert.
Escrow freezes until our desk reviews both sides.
Own-row database access and private document storage.
01 — Escrow protection
Escrow means the platform — not your counterparty — holds the crypto while the rand settles between the two of you.
The moment an order is created, the seller's USDT is moved into escrow and locked. It cannot be spent, re-listed or withdrawn while the trade is open.
The buyer sends the rand using the payment method on the advert — bank transfer, instant EFT, PayShap or Capitec Pay — inside the seller's payment window.
The seller checks their own bank balance and confirms the rand arrived. Release requires an explicit confirmation plus a one-time code sent to the account email.
Escrow releases to the buyer's ZARXE balance. The platform's 1% fee applies to each side and both traders can then rate each other.
Either side can raise a dispute from the trade room. Escrow freezes instantly — no release, no cancellation — until our dispute desk reviews the chat and the evidence uploaded by both parties.
02 — KYC & verification
03 — Verified traders
Every advert on the marketplace carries live data from the platform — not marketing copy.
04 — Transaction security
Full technical detail is on the Security page.
05 — Withdrawals
The cheapest and most widely used USDT network in South Africa. Choose this if your wallet or exchange address starts with a T.
Use this for transfers to and from Binance and most EVM wallets. Addresses start with 0x.
Sending USDT to an address on the wrong network will result in permanent loss of funds. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed and ZARXE cannot recover them. Always copy the address directly from the receiving wallet and confirm it expects TRC20 or BEP20 before you confirm a withdrawal.
06 — Disputes & support
A buyer cannot cancel once payment has been marked as sent — the case goes to review instead. ZARXE staff will never contact you first asking for a one-time code, your password or a payment to a personal account.
Crypto asset values can be volatile and trading carries risk. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once broadcast. ZARXE is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects buyers and sellers and holds USDT in escrow while rand payment settles between users — nothing on this site is financial advice. Only trade what you can afford to lose, keep your account credentials private, and remember that you are responsible for your own tax obligations and for complying with South African exchange control regulations.
