ZARXETerms of Service

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information ZARXE collects when you trade USDT for South African Rand on the platform, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

Account details (display name, email address and, optionally, a phone number); trading records (adverts, orders, escrow movements, messages and reviews); payment details you add for receiving rand; blockchain deposit and withdrawal records; and verification documents where identity checks are required.

Why we use it

To operate your account and escrow, to let counterparties pay each other, to resolve disputes, to meet legal and anti-money-laundering obligations, to prevent fraud, and to send you transactional notifications about your trades.

Who can see what

Other traders see only your display name, online status and public rating. Banking details are shared solely with the counterparty of an open order so payment can be made. Verification documents are stored privately and are visible only to ZARXE compliance staff — never to other users.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it with service providers who host our database, deliver our emails and process blockchain transactions, and with regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so.

Retention

Trading and verification records are kept for the period required by South African financial regulations, typically five years after your last transaction. Other account data is deleted when you close your account.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to records is restricted at database level so users can only reach their own data, and releasing funds requires a one-time code sent to your email.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask for deletion where we are not legally required to retain it. Contact support through the app to make a request.
