Sell USDT for rand in South Africa

Cash out USDT to your own South African bank account by trading directly with other ZARXE users. You set the rate and the payment window, and you only release from escrow once the rand has reflected.

How selling works on ZARXE

  1. 1

Deposit USDT into your ZARXE wallet on TRC20 or BEP20, and add the bank account you want to be paid into.

  2. 2

Either take an existing buy advert, or post your own sell advert with your rate, minimum and maximum order size, accepted payment methods and payment window.

  3. 3

When a buyer opens an order, your USDT moves into escrow and the buyer sees your banking details. They pay you directly in rand within the payment window.

  4. 4

Check your bank account, not the screenshot. Once the rand has genuinely reflected, confirm receipt and release the USDT from escrow to the buyer.

Escrow and merchant verification

Release is yours to make

Escrow holds your USDT while the trade is open, but nobody can release it except you — or the dispute desk, if a case is opened. Releasing also requires a confirmation step and an emailed one-time code, so a hijacked session can't drain a trade. How escrow works.

Verification builds your order flow

Sellers who complete ZARXE's merchant verification review get a green tick on every advert, which is what most buyers filter for. Your completed trade count and rating are shown alongside it. Merchant programme.

Getting paid: methods, fees and limits

Payment methods you can accept

Bank transfer, Instant EFT, PayShap and Capitec Pay. You choose which of these to accept on each advert. Rand moves straight between the two users' bank accounts — ZARXE never holds rand on your behalf.

Fees

A flat 1% platform fee on each side of a completed trade. No fee is charged on cancelled or expired orders. Fees and limits.

Limits you control

Set your own minimum and maximum order size and payment window per advert. Identity verification becomes required once lifetime traded volume passes R1 000 000. Compliance and KYC.

Staying safe as a seller

  • Verify the money in your banking app or statement before releasing. Screenshots, SMS notifications and emails can all be faked.
  • Check the payer's name matches the buyer's account. If a third party paid, hold and open a dispute rather than releasing.
  • Never release "as a favour" because someone is in a hurry, and never accept requests to continue the trade over WhatsApp or Telegram.
  • Keep every message in the trade room so the dispute desk has the full record. Support and disputes.
